MNU Module 4

Phew another module down, and can’t believe there are only 12 lectures left ?. And yes I’m already super nervous for exams!

Anyway we’ll get to them in due course. For now, back to module 4. This has been my favourite so far. This module really highlights how @macnutrition is at another level in how they teach us so much more than nutrition. We’ve learnt about offering corporate seminars, online coaching and the business side of being a nutritionist.

This module also covered practical applications and working with clients. The behavioural side is a huge interest of mine. Building habits, breaking habits and the psychology behind behaviour change I find fascinating and it’s so complex. Why does someone want to make a change, and how can we help them? Or more importantly how can we empower you to make the changes to reach your goals. MNU wants to teach us how to guide you. It sounds like a small difference (I love a bit of nuance!), but think about it for a minute.

Do you want a coach to tell you what to do? Or do you want one that helps you find your own way? That gives you the information and options to get there, but you can choose how to proceed.

It comes back to how each individual client is exactly that, an individual. So we must remember that and shape our services accordingly. This space (social media) continues to push ridiculous magic bullets and one size fits none cookie cutter “fixes” for people. We need to be better than that.
